I guess it's my turn to update my blog. I like the excuse of pictures and that way I don't have to write too much :) Potty training is going surprisingly well considering the fact that I'm not doing anything. Colton reminds Noah throughout the day that it's potty time and he goes.
As many of you know, we've been exploring career opportunities for Tom. He was sort of planning on going into plumbing. This would mean a 60% wage cut for the next 4 years for us, but we're in a position to make it work. He has received a few extremely good job offers in the meantime and so it all came down to decision time last week. He has finally decided to take another mill job in Burnaby. This job is much easier on the body than his last one and the pay is even better. A few guys from his last mill are also going to be working there, so he knows a few people he will be working with and has already organized car-pooling. So, he will be starting on April 3rd.
It's nice to have settled on something and not be wondering what the next few years will be like in a basement with 3 little ones. We still plan on staying here for 2 years and hopefully move on to our own house after that. We've also talked about me doing hair when we have our own place and I'm excited about the possibilities there. It's exciting to be able to plan ahead and hopefully settle down in a neighborhood before Colton starts kindergarten. We've dragged these boys around for a while and I think it's time to plant some roots.

Congrats on the new job, Tom! I guess going back to school is on the back burner for now?
i think it would be great if you began doing hair again!!! (very selfish of me, i know)....congrats to tom for finding a new job.
sounds like you had my kind of day....good coffee and people watching!
hmm , that last comment was to be on kyle & lynnette's blog....oops!, sorry about that!!
Wonderful that Tom has found something! Even better that it is easier on his body and pays more. I'm happy to hear of your future plans and understand how nice it is to sort of have that goal. It helps us bide our time and set down roots just where needed. Hard to imagine our children are school aged soon!!!
I completely understand the whole new job and new house thing. I'm sure this new job for Tom will be great...if I lived near you, you could cut my hair any time! By the way, the next time I come out there to visit my brother, we have to go for lunch, dinner or at least coffee...
By the way, I totally love your little baby timeline! How cute is that?!
hey! FINALLY found your blog. i always see your comments and try to find it, but it's not published so doesn't show on your profile. now i've gotcha! :) -de
time for another update. How are you feeling Erin? Did the second trimester bring relief from the sickness?
