First I have to say that this post is dedicated to my dear sister in-law, Kim and all you other faithful readers.
So much has happened since the last posting. We did move about a month ago, and are LOVING our new place. There is so much room to spread out. And it's so quiet! We do have some boxes still sitting around waiting to be unpacked and organized, but we are feeling very at home here.
Tom's car finally died a couple of weeks ago. So, we quickly hit the car lots and searched the papers for a replacement. Our hopes were to trade the van in and replace it with two cars, but we had a hard time finding two suitable cars at the same lot. Anyhow we ended up trading our very quickly depreciating ’05 van for a ’06 Toyota Matrix. We LOVE our new car and haven’t missed our van yet (although it’s only been 24 hours). We also got Tom, what seems to be a great commuter car for a great price. Hopefully we won’t have to worry about vehicles for a long time now. While I’ve been vehicle less, Colton missed his last couple weeks of preschool. His graduation is tonight, but I have a wedding shower to go to instead. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.
Last Sunday Noah got his first good war wound. From what I could get out of the boys, Noah’s cousin was twirling him around on her shoulders and he flew off, landed and skidded on his poor little nose. The morning after, his entire face was puffy and his poor nose was, well, RED. There have been many questions about the story behind his nose, but the good news is that it’s not broken.

This week Kiarrah (10 months tomorrow), decided it was finally time to get of her thrown and venture out beyond her circle of toys. She has discovered that there are plenty of fun places to explore, and my home is quickly becoming baby proof in the process.
So, that’s the update for now. It’s been a busy month since we moved and it looks like it will be busy until after Daryl’s wedding, but these were a few of our major events. And yes, you can find me on face book, if you are frustrated with my lack of blogging here, right Kim :o)
