She's Here!
Sunday, August 27, 2006
This is going to be quick since it's almost 10pm right now and I've only gotten 11 hours of sleep since Thursday. I'll give you some details maybe tomorrow, but wanted you to know that our little princess is finally here.
Kiarrah Faith (key-R-ah)
7 lbs. 2 oz. 20 inch.
born Friday, August 25 @ 10:55am (her due date)
It was the most horrible birth and NO I will not be having another if it's anything like that labor was. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. She's doing okay, not quite 100% but very well considering what we've been through. We were finally able to come home this morning, but have to keep a pretty close eye on her as she could have an infection that may take months to show itself. I promise to give more details later, right now my bed is calling my name.

I thought I'd be nice and give you guys an update. We are still at home :o
I went to the hospital for a non-stress test this morning and baby was happy. Still no contractions, so I may be induced tomorrow morn. if things haven't happened on their own. Of course I'd rather go into labor naturally, so please pray that I do. Till then....

And the Winner is . . .
Probably Jolene,

but only time will tell. My water broke at 8 am this morning. I've never had my water break first, so I don't know exactly what to expect; so far no contractions. I've decided if you guys are anything like me, you are going to be checking back every 20 minutes for the announcement. So, lets have a little fun while we wait. The grand prize winner will receive 4 baby bows (or 2 toddler) (This is for the original guesses) and I'm going to offer 1 baby bow to the person with the closest time and another to the person who guesses the closest birth weight. So, bring the guesses on and hopefully I can let you know very soon:)

~ If you have no need for bows, you can still guess for fun ~

Baby Update
Wednesday, August 23, 2006
As requested . . . still no baby. I've had major contractions for several hours each day and still nothing. I was waiting for my doctor's appointment today hoping that I'd have something more to tell you, but nope. I'm still only 2 cm. I did talk him into stripping my membranes and if the baby's not here by my next appointment on Tuesday then it sounded like he'd take bigger measures without actually promising me anything. So, back to waiting....

Maybe Baby?

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know the poll's still on. No baby yet and my family left for Oroville without us :o( We're hoping that all the guesses for the 21st win.

Just for fun...

Sorry to all that thought my last post included an announcement. I was actually planning on fooling you all with Noah's hospital pictures and all. Lucky for you, I just don't have the energy.

So, with baby Boo's due date coming quickly I figured we could have a little fun and do a baby poll. So, anyone that reads my blog, please post your prediction of day, time, and weight of baby Boo. You can guess the gender too if you want, but if you know please don't spoil it for the rest :)

Hope I can give you some news soon.

And just to make it a little bit more fun, the prize will be a bow of your choice from Schnookums.

Happy Birthday Baby
Tuesday, August 15, 2006
Yup my baby's 3 today! Happy Birthday Noah.

I don't feel like digging out pictures or any long tribute to my little boy, but I love him just the same:o)

Thanks to all who posted their support and encouragement. Still no baby though :o( We were hoping to go up to Oroville on Saturday for a week, but that's not looking too hopeful at the moment. So please pray for this baby to come soon. I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we'll see what he has to say. Until then...

Blah blah blah!!!

People have been bugging me for an update. But as I told my cousin Rachel and my mom, any post from me right now will be full of whining and bellyaching. So, I will do my best to give you all an update and stay positive:) Of course our lives are revolving around the coming baby who is taking it's jolly old time coming out. Squeamish people be ware.

Yes, I'm only 38 weeks, but we thought 2 weeks ago that the baby was coming soon. So, everyday I feel like a ticking time bomb. I've had 2 weeks of false labor, one night from 10pm until 4am. I've been loosing my plug since last Monday and this Monday the bloody show started. I've been bleeding a lot today and thankfully I had a doctors appointment already scheduled for today. He didn't seem too worried about the bleeding. He said that the baby is super low and I'm only 2cm dilated. I bled with Noah too, 3 days before he came; so maybe it really does mean that things are happening. Just when I come to peace that this baby could take a while yet, then something new happens that puts me on edge again. Ahhh the joys of being pregnant:)

So there you go. Next time you hear from me it will be with the baby announcement, whenever that will be:)
